Who won the INVEST Digital Health Pitch Perfect contest?
The INVEST Digital Health Pitch Perfect contest spotlighted 18 companies across three categories: home health, chronic disease management and value-based care, and technology to support payer and provider efficiency. So who emerged as the winners and how did the judges arrive at their choices?

Sonavi Labs is on a mission to improve patient outcomes and decrease respiratory disease morbidity and mortality globally by harnessing the most advanced acoustic technology available coupled with clinically proven diagnostic AI software.
“Sonavi Labs has developed a critical solution, especially in today’s unprecedented times,” said Lily Huang, a principal with NEA. “Ellington delivered a strong message on the potential wide-reaching impact of Feelix.”
Ian Chiang, Flare Capital Partners principal, observed that the past 18 months will be remembered for years to come as a time of unprecedented challenges, especially when it comes to managing respiratory diseases and delivering much-needed care at the comfort of a patient’s home.
“Sonavi Labs’s solution has the potential to significantly broaden care access and improve patient outcomes,” Chiang said. “Sanovi Labs can play a critical role in democratizing care and accelerate the ‘de-centralization’ of respiratory care delivery.”
Nickolas Mark, a managing director and partner at Intermountain Ventures, noted that “each presentation was impressive and shows what an impactful community is building around a shared belief that like-minded mission driven entrepreneurs can truly transform health and wellness.”

Strados Labs is a respiratory management solutions company that focuses on enabling real-world, real-time monitoring of lung health with smart-sensor technologies. The company’s proprietary biosensor is passive, patient-friendly and clinically validated to acquire lung sounds in the real-world. Its Strados Cloud platform collects and calculates the frequency of wheezing, coughing, shortness of breath as well as respiratory dynamics like rate and excursion for a more holistic picture about each subject.
“Nick did an excellent job describing where the product is today and his vision for transforming pulmonary health,” said Margaret Malone, Flare Capital Partners senior associate. “The data collected by the Strados device has the potential to further patient care and influence drug discovery while helping to reduce costs and improve outcomes for people suffering from pulmonary and respiratory conditions. The other judges and I were impressed by the company’s early traction and would love to learn more!”
Patrick Leon, vice chair of corporate development with Mayo Clinic, said he was impressed with the quality of the participants in the track.

Navimize enables health systems to increase visit volume and revenues at scale by offering a turnkey solution that integrates seamlessly with existing electronic medical record systems. The platform monitors workflow, predicts delays, and sends automated text messages to patients in real-time alerting patients of their precise arrival time, streamlining flow through the office and eliminating the physical waiting room. Messaging is customized to appointment type, so that patients being seen virtually are given fully automated, real time instructions on when to log in for visits, and are kept informed of what’s happening in the office.
